Great hearing from you. I just checked a family history written by my father's oldest cousin in Colorado, Dominic (Romeo to family members) Aspromonte. He wrote the history for the Aspromonte family reunion which is held every 2 years in the Durango area. He said my great-grandfather came over with "Joe" (Giuseppe) Fanto. I believe he said Joe had a bar. The park is named after "Ma" Fanto. I'm not sure if that means Mary or not. I'll check and get back to you.
