La biblioteca a Fante tra letture e seminari

TORRICELLA PELIGNA. Una giornata di studio dedicata a John Fante, lo scrittore americano figlio di emigrati di Torricella. L’associazione “John Fante”, il Comune, e la Comunità montana Aventino Medio-Sangro e la Provincia, organizzano per oggi la manifestazione “John Fante days”. Alle 11, visita guidata nei luoghi dello scrittore, accompagnata dalla lettura di brani tratti dalle sue opere. Alle 17, viene scoperta l’iscrizione che intitola la biblioteca a Fante. Alle 18 conferenza sul tema “Scrittore figlio di emigrati” con lo scrittore e giornalista Marco Vichi, e Lorena Di Paolo, studentessa di Torricella. Alle 21, documentario “Ritratto di John Fante” di Giovanna Di Lello.

The Fante Library Amid Seminars and Lectures

TORRICELLA PELIGNA. A study day dedicated to the works of John Fante, the American author, son of émigrés from Torricella. The “John Fante” Association, the Town Hall, the Aventine Middle Sangro Mountain Community and the Province, organised today as an exhibition called “John Fante Days”:-
11:00 - guided tour of the author’s places, accompanied by readings of extracts of his works.
17:00 - unveiling of the inscription naming it the Fante Library.
18:00 - conference entitled “Author, the son of emigrants”, “Scrittore figlio di emigrati,” with the author-journalist Marco Vichi and Lorena D Paolo, student from Torricella.
23:00 - documentary “Portrait of John Fante” by Giovanna Di Lello.
