Dan, I just got off the phone with my stepmother in Torricella. It seems, once more, that I made a mistake: the Aspromonte family, according to my source, was referred to as " SPRAMONT". The phrase "chis di spramont" translates to "those of the Aspromonte family. Regarding a "chis di piluc", my stepmother remembers only that they had many relatives in America.
"chis di mast dunat" refers to the Porreca family that Al visited when in Torricella: Virginia (now deceased) and her daughters: Teresita Antonietta e Rita.
